Boston MPUG Meeting:
“How MS Project Saved My Life!”
Sponsored by: integent!
Join the Boston Chapter of MPUG (Official Industry Association for Microsoft Project) for our next member meeting on Wednesday December 12, 2012 where the topic will be “How MS Project Saved My Life!” (or at least helps me do my job). This interactive presentation and discussion is sponsored by integent! and will be facilitated by Jacques Goupil, a Director at integent! accompanied by various presenters including Mr. Mike McGrath and Mr. Mark Wells at the Microsoft New England Research and Development Center (The NERD).
In the spirit of the Thanksgiving holiday it seems an appropriate time to reflect on the many things for which we are grateful – family, friends, community and yes, sometimes even a good Gantt chart. So we asked several of our MPUG Boston Chapter members to tell us why they are grateful for MS Project. OK, maybe it never saved your life, but somewhere along the line it probably helped you make a point with executives, communicate with your sponsors or motivate your team. Our multiple presenters will share their tips, techniques and gratitude for how MS Project helps them including: a discussion of One Pager Pro, a communication tool add-on to MS Project and the use of MS Project Expression Builder in a custom Earned Value reporting system.
The presentation will be given at the Microsoft New England Research and Development Center (The NERD),
1 Memorial Drive, Cambridge, MA 02142. Cost for the event is free for members and $15 for non-members. Food, soft drinks and special treats will be served.
