Windows 8 Issue

We just found this issue internally here at Integent. If you’re running windows 8 and you start being unable to access things you have accessed in the past. (In our case, it was a vpn connection into a client and an excel/powerpivot report in a client project online) take a look at the steps below for a solution:

1. In the Windows 8 environment, type Java.
2. You will see About Java as one of your options
3. Click on that and you will open the Java Control Panel
4. Choose the Security link
5. Add the site to Exceptions
