Recently, a client was experiencing an issue with custom field values in Project Server 2010. She changed the values in the lookup table for a Project custom field but was unable to see the new values in Project Professional. Oddly, she could see them fine in PWA. Of course, my first question was whether or not she had closed out of Project Professional and re-opened it and she had.

She cleared her cache but that didn’t help, either. What finally did the trick for this isolated user issue? She deleted her Project Server account in Project Professional and then re-added it.
