| I am trying to create a new workspace template for 2007 version of MS Project and Server. I used MSDN instructions "Extending the Project Workspace Template". When I try to create a new project the workspace is not created because I am getting a "Web is already linked to another project" error. In this specific case, the client was using the Blank Site as the template from which to create the Project Workspace template. If you are creating a template for the purpose of a Project Workspace template to be used in Project Server, the Microsoft Office Project Workspace template must be used. Once they implemented this change the newly created template worked fine.
