Learn to use Microsoft Project and Microsoft Project Online to manage and track problems that may prevent the project from meeting its planned deadline. Students will see an example of a Risk – a possible event that may affect the project timeline – as well as an Issue, which is an event that has occurred that will affect the project timeline. By seeing where these are displayed and the wealth of data that can be stored, students will be able to immediately enrich the data and create a better understanding of the path of the project they’re tracking. In addition alerts can be attached to these items in the Microsoft PPM solution in order for the Project Manager to receive an email notification the moment a Risk or Issue is either created, or, changes status.
