PPM Consultant

Integent provides expert project management, solutions deployment, and training services to a diverse client base. Our custom-tailored solutions deliver measurable improvements in the following areas:

  • People: What are the key issues, who owns the process and are they prepared to support all of the project-based initiatives.
  • Process: Starting at a high level we identify the key steps to deploy Microsoft's powerful project and portfolio management tools to streamline and coordinate project-based initiatives across the organization.
  • Technology: People are aligned and the process is developed, then we provide the technology solutions to ensure a successful implementation that provides real-time information to all levels of users, from Executives to Project Managers.

As an PPM Consultant at Integent specializing in Project and Portfolio Management, your responsibilities will include: Acting as both a technical and functional resource within the Integent organization Designing, developing and implementing solutions around Microsoft Project and Project Server/Online. Help clients implement processes to streamline and standardize their project and portfolio management procedures, as well as enhance collaboration throughout the organization. Building a strong relationship with the client

Though our desire is for a resource that has experience with Project Server we will consider someone who has a strong desire to learn how to deploy Project Server.  In any event, applicants must have strong knowledge of MS Project.

Responsibilities

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously from initiation through closeout
  • Strong skills helping customers develop around managing projects and resources
  • Experience managing discovery sessions with customers and creating project deliverables   
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • 2 or 4-year college degree preferable in Information Systems or a comparable degree
  • Willingness to travel up to between 25%

Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Project, versions 2010 and up

  • Build and strengthen relationships within Microsoft
  • Manage accounts as well as account planning and opportunity management
  • Drive sales process from initial contact to closure of deal
  • Maintain relationships with customers for cultivation of additional opportunities
  • Help build relationships with customers as trusted advisor role
  • Bring new ideas for services and solutions to the table for additional sales

Qualifications

  • Proven track record selling Microsoft technologies or similar
  • Strong verbal, written, computer communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and positive business relationships
  • Effective sales negotiation and closing techniques
  • Demonstrated sales lead development and account cultivation
  • Most importantly, must be driven, self-motivated, and have a passion to succeed in a fast paced environment
